Ranitya Nurlita (Lita) is an environmental consultant, diver, and entrepreneur. Lita had in-depth knowledge of environmental conservation since 2011. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries from IPB University. Currently, she is a Master’s Candidate in the School of Government and Public Policy (SGPP) Indonesia. Over the past ten years, Lita has worked on environmental issues specifically waste management and marine conservations by providing many high-value projects.
In 2014, returning from student exchanges in the U.S., she managed a project namely ASEAN Reusable Bag Campaign (ASEAN RBC) in Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. In 2017, she initiated “Sahabat Alam” The Board Game is an educational board game to raise awareness about environmental lifestyle.
Currently the Community Manager of Indonesia from OceanCycle, she acts as OceanCycle’s (OCI) main in-country representative, monitoring and auditing plastic collection networks in recycling sites across Indonesia. Besides, she also runs a social business Wastehub®. It empowers waste pickers and creates an effective and responsible local waste collection in South Tangerang and East Indonesia.
