Sonya Jung is a chief manager of Micro Finance Dept. of Good Neighbors Global Impact Foundation (GNGIF), which is the designated social economy agency, than handles all economic development projects that Good Neighbors implement in 38 different countries. She designs and implements global strategy to better build financing framework in each country, designing different types of financing institutions to better finance the marginalized communities over the world.
She also led a New Business Development team for two years in GNGIF, designing business plans that ensures social returns at the same time.
Sonya also has helped UK private enterprises to launch their businesses in Seoul Korea as a trade officer in UK Trade and Investment for four years and has experiences in working in the fashion private sector, as a planning merchandiser for New York Fashion week participating brands for 6 years.
With private and public working experiences, she has balanced perspective on designing economic projects.
